Somali Milatary spokesman denies infighting

Bartamaha Muqdisho — The Somali military spokesperson Farhaan Arsaanyo denied the accusations that there was internal infighting within the Somali military. Farhaan admitted that there was miscommunication within the diffrent factions within the Somali military. But warned that there was no actual fighting that took place.

“There is no fighting but there is always mistrust and shots were fired in the air”. Farhaan’s comments came after yesterdays clashes within the factions of the Somali military which took place between baanadiir road and Zoobe in Muqdisho.

The streets where the clashes took place are calm today and no incidents have taken place since then.
