MINNEAPOLIS – Minneapolis police are investigating an overnight murder after finding a man shot multiple times inside a car.
Officers responded to the area of Groveland and Nicollet around 1 a.m. Monday on a call of shots fired. They found a man shot multiple times in a car in a parking lot.
Ali Yassin Ismael, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police believe Ismael had been shot several times from outside the car, but they do not have any suspects at this time.
No arrests have been made and witnesses are still being interviewed.
