Somali president meets with Djibouti’s Gelle

President-sharifBartamaha (Djibouti):- The president of the transitional government of Somalia Sheik Sharif Sheik Ahmed has met with Djiboutian president Osma’il Omar Gelle and talked more on Somali matters in Djibouti city on Thursday.

President Sheik Sharif Sheik Ahmed had attended at the UN summit on Somali matters in New York and Madrid of Spain for the International Contact Group in the past recent days.

The meeting came as high delegation led by the Somali president from the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa reached at Djibouti on Thursday where more of the high officials of Djibouti including president Osma’il Omar Gelle had welcomed there.

Both sides had held closed doors meeting at the presidential palace of Djibouti and discussed how Djiboutian government would continue its support to the transitional government of Somalia.

President Gelle had talked about the coming Prime Minister of Somalia supposed to be appointed by president Sheik Sharif consulting who would be the premier.

The Somali president and his delegation is supposed to go to other African countries as the president is waited for appointing new PM to change the former resigned premier Mr. Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharma’arke.
