Officers started searching for a 17-year-old girl about 4 a.m. Sunday in the area of Drainsville Road and Woodson Drive in Herndon. A close family friend told News4 the girl’s name is Nabra. The friend said Nabra was walking back to the ADAMS Center, a mosque in Sterling, with her friends when the altercation happened.
“At this point, there doesn’t seem to be indication this was a bias incident. It looks like they got into a dispute over something,” Fairfax County Officer Tawny Wright said in a news conference Sunday evening.
