The prime minister of Kenya Raila Odinga is on a tour to refugee camps, among the places he visited include Mandheera town in the NFD region and he is expected to visit other neighboring regions which host Somali refugees
Public relations officer from the Somali embassy in Kenya Abdi Sataar Hassan Ali who talked to Risaala news station Mogadishu explained the reason for the Kenyan premier’s visit to Somali refugee camps, he ruled out the idea that Kenya is planning to return Somali refugees living in its country
Abdi Sataar said Somali refugees will not be returned until lasting peace, law and order is restored in Somalia
He also talked about the duties of the Somali embassy in Kenya, he insisted that the personals working in the embassy are united and they have confidence in their leadership and they are fulfilling their duties to their best to serve the Somali Diaspora
In recent months there were reports that Kenya is under taking a plan to return all Somali refugees back to their country
