Somali President leaves to attend Turkeys newly elected President inauguration
MOGADISHU (BARTAMAHA) The President of the federal republic of Somalia Hassan Shiekh Mohamud has left for Turkey after Turkish government has issued an official invitation to attend the inauguration of the newly elected president of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The president along with a delegation including Somali foreign minister Abdirahman Dualle Bayle had departed from Adden Adde International airport in Mogadishu on Wednesday evening, where senior Somali government members including parliament speaker Proff Osman Jawaari has participated the farewell of the president’s leave for Turkey.
The president together with the delegation are expected to attend the swearing in of the newly and the first elected president of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who was the country’s last prime minister.
Turkey has recently been termed as the most helpful nation for the people of Somalia who suffered over two decades of lawlessness after Turksih last prime minister and the current president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan paid a historical visit to Mogadishu, Somalia as the part of the Turkish people’s campaign to reach out to the suffering Somali people in 2011 acute drought that hit the nation .
