Somali government reiterates call to halt fighting during Ramadan month.
Bartamaha (Mogadishu ):- The information minister of the transitional government has Thursday called for warriors against the TFG to halt the fighting and respect the displaced and poor civilians during the holy Ramadan month.
Ing. Abdirahman Omar Osman, the information minister of the transitional government of Somalia had expressed unfortunate for the clashes continuing in the capital as more displaced people experiencing difficulties in Mogadishu during the holy Ramadan month.
“To declare war during Ramadan is unfortunate indeed. So we call people to be respected, helped and supported. It is time work peace, but declaring war. Even the president called to halt the war recently and give breakfast to every one who could not. To beg Ahllah and follow his orders to be near to Allah,†said the minister.
“People should protect those who refused them to go to mosques, to pray the prayers during the holy Ramadan, those who do not like peace and work the unrest. We also call those to be away from bothering the people,†said Ing Yarisow
The information minister of the TFG ing. Yarisow had also talked the Humanity Day which was commemorated on Thursday and called for the aid agencies to redouble their efforts for supporting the Somali people.
The statement of the minister comes as there are many more displaced civilians experiencing difficulties in and out of the Somali capital Mogadihu during Holy month of Ramadan.
