Search for missing U.K. family leads to Toronto
The search for a woman and her two children missing from Manchester, England has led to Toronto.
Anisa Ibrahim, 31, along with her two children, Khalid, 6, and Ahmed Abubakar, 4, have not been seen since April 2010.
They were last seen travelling to Amsterdam from Manchester on April 9, 2010.
Police are actively looking for the family and believe Ibrahim and her children are living within the Somali community in Toronto.
Ibrahim is wanted by police for allegedly breaching a family court order by taking her children out of Britain without consulting their father, Abdul Abubakar.
Abubakar has not seen his children since April 6, 2010. Police say he is concerned about the children’s whereabouts and their state of health.
Police say Khalid suffers from a severe skin condition and requires medical attention.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-2222 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
