Redemption Through Reinvention is a documentary about the Somali community in San Diego. This film presents a holistic view of this unique Muslim refugee community displaced by civil war in a post 9/11 era. This film will present an inside look into the culture, food, families and educational institutions of this community as well as other issues including the youth and profiling. This documentary presents the ugly truth as well as the miraculous stories of hope and faith.
