We needed change and they all agreed
so they came to us, in order to lead
Â
their plans were different, indeed
Â
but all wanted to succeed
Â
they came prepared, in order to lead
Â
lead the people, who could not read
the obstacles in their way were qabil and greed
numerous times, they came to plead
we turned our backs and disagreed
at the end, they had to concede
could no longer watch to see their country bleed
now, they helplessly watch as their hairs recede
