Bartamaha (Mogadishu):-An insurgent group in Somalia Al-shabab has demanded support from their umbrella body Al-Qaeda to beef up their strength to fight the Somali weak government backed by Africa Union troops.

Sheikh Ali Dhere a spokesman for Al-shabab has told reporters that they are requesting the militants in Iraq, Yemen, Afghanistan and Shishan to support their fighting of Jihad (the Holy war).

This came after United Nation Security Council demanded to reinforce and send more additional troops to Somalia.

Reports say that Al-shabab militants are increasing their efforts of overthrowing the Government of Somalia.

The horn of African state has been without central Government since 1991 when the former regime was overthrown by warmongers.
