An Eden Prairie man is accused of locking up an eight-year-old girl and sexually abusing her.

Abdi Mohamed Jama, 32, is charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct.

According to the criminal complaint, the victim’s father came home to find her missing on July 25. He went to Jama’s home because their daughters are friends.

The complaint says the father found his daughter upstairs in a locked room with Jama. She told police the suspect had sexually abused her for two years.

Jama is being held at the Hennepin County Jail on $75,000 bail.
