Details: Ambassador ROBERT OAKLEY, Former two-time
U.S. Special Envoy to Somali and Mr. OMAR JAMAL, Executive Director, Somali Justice Advocacy Center, will discuss THE TARGETING OF YOUNG SOMALI IMMIGRANTS IN THE U.S. BY TERRORIST GROUPS IN SOMALIA.
The boys travel to Somalia, disappear and may become involved in Somali pirate activities. The SJAC thinks the piracy issue results from, among other things, the lack of law and order in Somalia and a considerable level of Al Qaeda influence in a country with no effective government.
