SOMALIA: Japan pledges $40 Million for Somalia
Japan government pledges a cash support amounting to $40 Million US dollar for Somalia intended to implement development projects within the country.
The Prime minister of Japan Shinzo Abe said that this money will be contributed to implement projects intended to improve health services, national police performance and create jobs for women and youth.
Shinzo addressing a press conference with Somali head of State Hassan Sheikh Mohamud promised to continue their support for Somalia.
Somali president Mohamud expressed his gratitude for Japan government for supporting Somalia in a time of recovery from two decade of civil war and anarchy.
