UK police in Bristol are investigating the death of Somali-Briton woman stabbed to death on August 21.
A man and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman died at a flat in St Paul’s in Bristol last night.
According to local media, the woman was found inside the property with serious stab wounds and efforts to resuscitate her by police and paramedics tragically failed and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man aged 37 and a 27-year-old woman have been arrested, and forensic officers have spent the morning combing the scene, looking in gardens and public areas around the area, off St Nicholas Road.
The woman now identified as Asiya Omar is reportedly killed by her husband.
Both are of Somali origin.
The husband Adan Dahir is among the two arrested by the police.
Their neighbors said they did not hear any commotion and only knew the incident through the media and the police presence at the neighborhood.
